Tilapia Filet







Tilapia filet ..a great tilapia fish recipe to try...a nice one !

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup of finely chopped onion
  • 1 pound of mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup of green or red pepper
  • 1/2 cup of thinly sliced carrot
  • 1 teaspoon of dried tarragon
  • No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 4 Aluminium foil pieces, approximately 12x14-inches in size
  • 4 tilapia fillets (4-6 ounce each)
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Start by preheating thе oven to 350º Fahrenheit.
Cut thе mushrooms into thin slices.
Chop thе red or green bell pepper into fine pieces.
Cut thе carrot into thin slices.
Mix thе onion, mushrooms, green or red bell pepper, carrot and tarragon with each other in a bowl.
Use no-stick cooking spray to spray thе centre of each aluminium foil pieces.
Place one Tilapia filet in each aluminium foil pieces.
Spray thе Tilapia filet with more no-stick cooking spray.
Sprinkle salt and ground black pepper over thе Tilapia filet.
Place carrot mix on top of each Tilapia filet.
Bring thе long sides of thе aluminium foil together and fold them, and close thе aluminium foil pieces by rolling thе short sides tightly towards thе centre of thе piece.
Place thе four aluminium pieces on a baking sheet and insert them in thе oven. Bake thе Tilapia filet fоr approximately 20 minutes.
Remove thе four packages of Tilapia filet from thе oven and let them stand and cool down during 5 minutes.
Put one Tilapia filet package on each serving plate, but Dо nоt open thе packages. Let everyone open their own Tilapia filet package, since thе escaping steam is filled with thе most magnificent aroma. The tilapia fish recipe of fillet is ready ,...enjoy the feast !

Tilapia With Cilantro Cream Sauce











Tilapia With Cilantro Cream Sauce...another great tilapia fish recipe to try !

INGREDIENTS:

* 1 1/2 pounds tilapia fillets
* 1 tablespoon melted butter
* Salt and pepper
* 1 tablespoon olive oil
* 1 clove garlic, finely minced
* 2 green onions, thinly sliced
* 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
* 1 cup heavy cream
* 1 tablespoon lime juice
* Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS
Heat oil in a small saucepan over medium heat; sauté the garlic and onion for 1 to 2 minutes. Add cream and bring to a simmer. Simmer for about 3 to 4 minutes to reduce slightly. Stir in cilantro, lime juice, and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for about 1 minute longer. Set aside or refrigerate until nearly serving time.
Heat oven to 375°.

Line a baking pan with foil; spray with nonstick cooking spray. Brush fillets lightly with butter; arrange in the baking pan. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Bake the fish for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the tilapia is cooked through. Warm the sauce up and drizzle a little over each serving of fish...and he tilapia fish recipe is ready to serve....great !

Lemon Garlic Tilapia

INGREDIENTS

* 4 tilapia fillets
* 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
* 1 tablespoon butter, melted
* 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
* 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
* pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Spray a bakingdish with non-stick cooking spray.
2. Rinse tilapia fillets under cool water, and pat dry with papertowels.
3. Place fillets in baking dish. Pour lemon juice over fillets,then drizzle butter on top. Sprinkle with garlic, parsley, andpepper.
4. Bake in preheated oven until the fish is white and flakes whenpulled apart with a fork, about 30 minutes.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

INGREDIENTS

* 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
* 1/4 cup butter, softened
* 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
* 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
* 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
* 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
* 1/8 teaspoon celery salt
* 2 pounds tilapia fillets

INGREDIENTS

1. Preheat your oven's broiler. Grease a broiling pan or line pan with aluminum foil.
2. In a small bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, butter, mayonnaise and lemon juice. Season with dried basil, pepper, onion powder and celery salt. Mix well and set aside.
3. Arrange fillets in a single layer on the prepared pan. Broil a few inches from the heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Flip the fillets over and broil for a couple more minutes. Remove the fillets from the oven and cover them with the Parmesan cheese mixture on the top side. Broil for 2 more minutes or until the topping is browned and fish flakes easily with a fork. Be careful not to over cook the fish. The tilapia fish recipe is ready to serve....great ! Enjoy your meal !

Grilled Tilapia with Mango Salsa

INGREDIENTS
* 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
* 1 tablespoon lemon juice
* 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
* 1 clove garlic, minced
* 1 teaspoon dried basil
* 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 2 (6 ounce) tilapia fillets
* 1 large ripe mango, peeled, pitted and diced
* 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
* 2 tablespoons minced red onion
* 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
* 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
* 2 tablespoons lime juice
* 1 tablespoon lemon juice
* salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Whisk together the extra-virgin olive oil, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, parsley, garlic, basil, 1 teaspoon pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a bowl and pour into a resealable plastic bag. Add the
tilapia fish fillets, coat with the marinade, squeeze out excess air, and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
2. Prepare the mango salsa by combining the mango, red bell pepper, red onion, cilantro, and jalapeno pepper in a bowl. Add the lime juice and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and toss well. Season to taste with salt and pepper, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
3. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat, and lightly oil grate.
4. Remove the tilapia from the marinade, and shake off excess. Discard the remaining marinade. Grill the tilapia fish fillets until the fish is no longer translucent in the center, and flakes easily with a fork, 3 to 4 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the fillets. Serve the tilapia fish recipe topped with mango salsa....amazing taste ! Enjoy !

Fried Tilapia Fish Recipes


INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 pound of Tilapia fillets
  • Ice water
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of fresh ground pepper
  • ¼ cup of flour (preferably all-purpose flour)
  • 2 egg whites
  • ¼ cup of yellow cornmeal
  • ¼ cup of seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of dried marjoram
  • Cooking spray

INSTRUCTIONS:

* Start by preheating the oven to 400° Fahrenheit.
* Cut the Tilapia fillets into four serving pieces if necessary.
* Place the Tilapia fillets in ice water and allow them to soak for a few minutes.
* Rinse the Tilapia fillets under cold running water, before you carefully pat them dry with a paper towel or similar.
* Place salt, pepper and flour in a shallow pan or plate and mix them together.
* Separate the egg whites from the egg yolks, and disregard the egg yolks. Beat the egg whites until they are white and foamy and put them in another shallow pan or plate.
* Place yellow cornmeal, bread crumbs, dried thyme and dried marjoram in a separate shallow pan or plate and blend the ingredients together.
* Cover the Tilapia Fish fillets by first dipping them into the flour mix and then into the egg white mix. Finnish by carefully covering the Tilapia fillets completely in the bread crumb mix.
* Use cooking spray to coat a low sided baking pan.
* Put the Tilapia Fish fillets in the baking pan and bake them in the oven during 10-12 minutes. The fried Tilapia Fish is ready to serve when it is easy to flake the fish using a fork. Enjoy the tilapia fish ! Delicious !

Pecan Crusted Tilapia Fish Recipes

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 pound of pecans, finely grounded
  • 2 tablespoons of cereal thickener
  • Onion powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper or lemon pepper
  • 2 Tilapia fillets per person
  • Lemon
  • Parsley
INSTRUCTIONS:

* If you want to bake the pecan crusted tilapia in the oven, your first step will be to preheat the oven to 400° F.
* Use aluminium foil to cover a baking pan.
* Put the finely grounded pecans in a large zip-lock plastic bag and add cereal thickener, onion powder, salt and pepper or lemon pepper.
* Use some water to wet the Tilapia fillets and put then inside the zip-lock plastic bag. This makes it easy to evenly coat the Tilapia fillets.
* Place the pecan crusted Tilapia fillets in the baking pan and bake them in the oven for roughly 10 minutes. Or use a frying pan to cook the pecan crusted Tilapia fillets if you prefer not to bake them in the oven.
* Place the Tilapia fillets on a serving plate and squeeze some lemon juice over them. Add some parsley as decoration. The tilapia fish recipe is ready...enjoy it ! Nice one !
